Last week of the transfer... - Week 23 - Monday, March 13, 2017

Well week five of the transfer has just finished. One week left. Wow. So this week was a fun one! To start off the week we had exchanges with the zone leader. It was way sweet! Our district leader doesn't speak Spanish and he came to our area with me. I was a little nervous because I don't have a whole ton of time in the mission and my Spanish isn't quite the best. So we just went tracting to start the exchange which wasn't bad. We did talk to a pretty interesting Cuban guy who spoke crazy fast. Then to finish the night we had a lesson with one of our investigators. I was way nervous and stuff and right before we went in my district leader asked to say a prayer. I was like man that is a good idea. So he said the prayer and went in. Let me say it wasn't the best lesson in the world, but I thought it went really good. We talked about baptism and the confirmation. I was pleased with how it went honestly. It helped, me learn that I am better at Spanish that I thought I was. I am still far from perfect, but it is coming.

I have learned a whole ton this transfer, but the biggest thing I realized two nights ago is probably the most important thing. I am surprised it took me this long to realize. So when I decided to go on a mission I had the idea to give my time to the Lord. Now that I am here on the mission this time isn't mine. So now it is my decision on how I am going to treat His time. This really helped me realize that I need to putting my all into these two years because then I have the rest of my life for myself. Well kind of. It has been great so far and I can't wait to see what these next few months have to offer. Love YA all!
