Keep it 75% - Week 22 - Monday, March 6, 2017

​Alright I will start off with a day that was pretty sweet or mostly just different slash funny. It was great. So sometime last week me and Elder Lucero were out tracting. We were walking up to this door and on the right there was this arm rail that was pretty small. Probably like 5 feet long or something. It was a small little guy. So I knock on the door and am waiting to get denied when all of a sudden I hear this huge crash behind me. I turn around and Elder Lucero is on the ground and the handrail had busted completely out of the ground. It was great. It was so funny. He told me he was leaning on it when it all of a sudden it broke. It was great. Luckily no one answered the door. Don't worry we made it so it was hardly noticeable.

Then we get to the last house for the morning. We knock and this black guy opens and he starts telling us how great we are for doing this. He tells us he has water he has food and if we ever need some energy that we can come over anytime. I almost felt like we were in a zombie apocalypse and he was offering us food and shelter. It was great. He basically was. Then he just asked us if we could pray together and then he stuck out his hands. So we prayed with him on his doorstep holding hands. It was a pretty solid prayer this guy gave. I will be honest it was hard for me to not laugh. I just imagined how ridiculous we probably looked. Two white kids and a black guy all on the porch holding hands. It was great though. We will have a place to go now for our nutrients.

Other than that I don't remember much from that day except I found 88 cents! Let's go! It was great. So far I have found about 9 dollars just from collecting loose change on the ground. It keeps things interesting and fun. We also celebrated Elder Luceros 6 months left today by eating half a dozen donuts each. It was great. We also watched the face to face from Elder Holland and eyring! It is way good and says a lot of good stuff about the atonement and the prayer. There was also a sweet new restoration video! It was awesome. It was great.

PS. I gave the opening prayer in Spanish in Sacrament meeting yesterday. It was great.
