Spring is coming... Week 24 - Monday, March 20, 2017

So the time has come for me to leave finally. It has been a fun few months. I think like four and I have learned a ton, but as for now I am moving on to other things and other places. That place is called Springlake and it is in the Oakton Zone or Stake. It is in Loudan County which apparently is the richest county in the United States. It has been a sweet transfer with so many memories. Elder Lucero will be staying and training a new missionary! This ward will sure be getting used to new missionaries. I am going to a pretty cool place from what I have heard though. Elder Lucero was hoping that I would get the chance to go there, so I am happy about that. I am going to be with Elder Nield and that is basically all I know about that so yep.

Well as for this week some pretty awesome things have happened. So about a week and a half ago we talked to this guy getting out of his car and he said we could come back last Wednesday. So of course we went back! He ended up tellling us that he used to go to church when he lived in El Salvador, buyt that was like 16 years ago. We were thinking that is pretty good. We were teaching the Restoration and we got to the part about the book of mormon. He told us that he already had one of those. We thought oh sweet! He went and got it and then he told us how he reads it a little. He said when he usually reads it, it is for about a half an hour to an hour. We were thinking that that is a little more than a little bit. He is a good way into the Book of Mormon already. Then we invited him to church and stuff. He told us that he had a sister that we might know. It turns out that his sister was a less active in the ward that we had been visiting but they had recently started coming back to church. So it was way awesome! He told us he would come to church with his sister! He came but could only stay for the first two hours. After sunday school he told us that we better be ready next week because he is going to come prepared with a tough question. I won't be there, but Elder Lucero will have to tell me what his question was. He seemed really solid.

Well that is basically it. I hope everyone is having a fantastic week. If you haven't seen the mormon message "reflections" I suggest it. Definitely one of my favorites! Love you all!
