This week was a pretty good week! We went to the temple twice and put three people on date for January! We basically have four though!
So we have been teaching this family and they are so ready it is insane! They are so awesome! Before we went in Elder Porter told me that I was going to give the baptism invitation and let me just say that I butchered it so hardcore. Then somehow through Elder Porter saving the situation they both agreed to be baptized. It was probably one of the most exciting things that has happened yet! This family really likes us too! They would have us over every night if we could, but we don't do that. They have read a bunch in the Book of Mormon too. When we came back after our baptism invite lesson they had read in 2 Nephi 31 I think where it talks about baptism. Apparently Elmer had called his sister to know more of what baptism is all about and she told him to read there. It is like they are surrounded with good influences and people helping them. Then we went to the temple with them yesterday! They have so many questions and just want to learn! It is so cool! The wife did ask me if we could eat at fast food restraunts though... That was kind of funny. Then when they came to church they asked me if they could partake of the sacrament. I of course said yes. Then when we got the water after drinking it they put the cups back into the the little cup holder circles. It was awesome! They seem really willing to obey everything too. It should be all good.
The other lady is named Rosa Juarez and we will see about her. She is more hesitant about the whole baptism thingy. I think she is a little nervous, but I am sure she will come around.
Elder Galvan went home on Thursday too. It is crazy that I am just starting and he just finished! It is kind of cool though too. Well I hope that you all have a great christmas this weekend! The best Christmas present would be if you could give me the best advice you have about serving a mission. I am sure all you who served would have some good wisdom to share. Hope all is going good with life! Remember the true meaning of Christmas! That is Christ! Love you all!
