So we got transfers and I will be staying in spring lake with Elder Nield! Woo! Super pumped! Also things are getting better here and also hotter! This week a lot of stuff happened! One of the interesting things that happened was we were knocking doors at this apartment complex. Then all of a sudden behind us three JW's came walking up and knocked the door right behind us. I felt so awkward and I was expecting there to be a little discussion, but we just said "Hola" and then shook their hands! They left though right after though which I was very thankful for.
I will just share something else really cool that happened! So about one transfer ago me and my companion were walking back to our car in Woodbridge and we saw this guy get out of his car. I went over and talked to him and told him what we do and stuff. Then he said we could come visit him next Wednesday. Then he also said he used to go to church in El Salvador. It was pretty cool. We went back the next Wednesday and had an awesome lesson with him! We found out that his sister is actually Mormon and in our ward. It was way crazy! He went to church and loved it, but then I got transfered. Then this week I got a call that he was getting baptized! It was way cool to hear that he got baptized.Well I also finished the Book of Mormon for the first time on my mission! I know it took me a long time. It wasn't in Spanish though I will be working on that next. We had a lesson last night though with this member and he told us how every time he reads the book of Mormon it is almost as if it is as reconformation that it is true. I feel like that how it is for me. I don't have that one big experience where I hear a voice or anything. It is all the little experiences and the consistency of them that makes it so amazing. We have been challenging members and less actives to start and finish the book of Mormon before the end of the year! You got 8 months and I know you can all do it! I am going to do it in Spanish, but you can do it in whatever language you want! I love you all and have a great week!
