Temple Day - Week 69 - Tuesday, January 30, 2018

So this week was pretty good. Last Tuesday we had zone conference and we got smartphones. We have galaxies so that is pretty cool. It was really different for me because our other phones were like those slide and keyboard kind. That has been cool though. We also got Facebook and we are doing that now. I honestlt have no idea how to use it with missionary work, but we have been coming up with a few ideas. That night we taught Ernesto again. He is doing super good. He had questions about the word of wisdom and stuff. We talked to him about that and the plan of salvation. It was a pretty good lesson. Then on wednesday i had exchanges with elder kuhre. He is district leader now and is super awesome. We went back to this place that used to be in our area called GTS. It is a cool place and kind of have missed it. We ate dinner with the relief society president and she is way awesome. Definitely one of my favorite people in the ward. After we went to go visit another member. When we were leaving her house we saw this lady just sitting in her car so we went to give her a card. She opened the door. She was almost blind and her legs didnt work very good. We started to help her to her house but she had no idea where she lived. Then her neighbor came out and helped us. The neighbor told us that the lady had been sitting in the car for 4 hours. She was very drunk also. She didn't want to go to her house because her husband was drunk and was hurting her. It was just a bad situation. We ended up getting her to her house, but it was just interesting. Very different from Utah.

Then thursday. We went and gave a blessing to these twins that were recently born. They were cute. It makes me want to have kids. Just kidding. Then on friday we went back to Ernestos house. When we got there there were two people from another church there. One of them was ernestos brother. We just had a nice conversation about the holy ghost. We invited him to a baptism but he didn't come. Saturday not much happened to us. Then on Sunday Ernesto came to church. It was crazy. He only stayed for the first hour, but i would call it a success. We also went to visit this family that lives about 30 minutes away. They are from the Dominican republic. They are super cool. They made us some really good food too. I also got to confirm one of the people that got baptized Sunday at church. Then yesterday we did a lot. We are trying to make this video for Facebook, but so far it has been a little rough. We played some basketball with some kids though. That night we went and visited these two people. We taught this one family and this other guy. It was a pretfy good day.

So friends and family. It is the last letter for the month of January. I can not believe it. I hope you all have kept it going with your goals and stuff. I have been really focusing on developing faith this month. It has been really good. So yesterday me and my comp decided that we were going to make this video thing for Facebook. We were super excited. We went out in the morning and no one wanted to help us. I believed that there would be people who would help us. So we skipped all our studies and decided to go to this place where it is just pure hispanics. It is called Georgetown south. It is a great place. We went there and we found two people who would help us. Then we went to the seven eleven and got another guy. It was crazy. It took us forever but we did it and it was fun along the way. Faith is the power by which heaven works. Christ always talks about faith with most of the miracles that he performs. Fear is the opposite of faith. When he calms the storm he asks his apostles why they had such little faith. He is always asking them that liie when they couldn't cast the demon out of the kid. If we have faith things will happen in our lives! Seek to increase your faith everyday! I love you guys and hope you have a good week!
