Hello! I first got to give a shout out to my brother who turns 16 on friday! Hopefully he has a date planned for that day already, but if not call him someone! We'll now to be serious! This week was pretty good. We had a fourth of July party that was a ton of fun. We had food, played some volleyball and also tennis. I love this ward a ton. The members are all super sweet. This week one of the less actives that we are visiting found out that her mom in Peru has cancer. She called us crying and stuff. We said a prayer with her over the phone and then went by that night and gave her a blessing. She was going to come to church, but she also has back pain because something is wrong with one of her vertebrates or something.
She shared something super cool with us though! She has been reading a lot in the book of mormon. That's awesome! That's not the cool thing though! So her husband is like die hard catholic until the day he dies... Like he doesn't give any leeway. Well this week she was just laying down reading one night and her husband came out and asked her to tell him what she way reading. She told him about everything and he was legit interested. When she told us this she told us how it was a miracle because her husband in the past had never been open to learning or hearing in the slightest, so keep your fingers crossed! Oh also pray.
Sorry for the lack of pictures this week. Only got two and they are almost the exact same. We went to this kids birthday party with a bunch of nonmembers. It was a ton of fun. Have a good week!
