This week we got a new mission president. He came to visit us Saturday night. He is very tan and has very white hair. I was very impressed with the love that he has for us and the work. I was even more impressed though with the love his wife has for us and the gospel. He was a very kind and soft spoken man. So far I like him. It was kind of cool because L. Whitney Clayton was at our building watching the baptism of his grandson so president Chaplin asked him to come speak to us. Apparently he is a member of the seventy. I don't think I had seen him before. I guess I better start paying more attention.
This week we met with some cool people. The coolest thing has been to see one of our investigators named Erika change. The way she talks about the spirit and God really inspires me. She is super amazing. She told us how when she goes to work in the morning she goes to check Facebook, Facebook is a pretty big thing for Hispanics, and then she just gets bored. She then just goes to read the scriptures now. She told us now she is at the point where she just reads the scriptures instead of going to Facebook. She is super awesome and will hopefully get baptized sometime soon. Her and her husband just have to get married.
I hope you all have a great week.
Elder Larsen
