Hello! I hope you all are doing good! So I will just tell a quick story here fast. So yesterday we were getting out of a lesson when we got a call from Mexico. They sent us a referral. So we were like let's go by right now. So we went by and this lady comes out and starts talking to us. We are talking to her and she tells us how she is an excommunicated Jehovah's Witness and how she loved that church so much because they went out and knocked doors and stuff. Then she told us how she knew Jesus visited America's and how she wanted to learn more about that. So we gave her the book and read Moronis promise with her. She then told us how she reads 100 pages a day so she will be able to finish the book of mormon in a week. In Spanish it has like 640 pages. So yeah that was really cool. She said she wants to come to church with us too so that's awesome. I will keep you posted.
So I have been studying temptation a lot lately because it is something very prevelant in the world right now. Almost everything from the scriptures that I have found have told me that I need to be humble, meek and have faith in Jesus Christ. I believe that truly the most important thing that we can obtain or develop in this life is a testimony of Jesus christ and his Atonement. To know that it happened and know that he is our redeemer. As members of the Church of Jesus Christ we have the opportunity to help others learn about christ and his Atonement. The Atonement is taught so throughly in the book of mormon and because of this we are asked to read it everyday. Hopefully we can all do that! Love you guys!!
