I think it is funny how the things that prophets and apostles talk about the most are the most basic things. Probably because we don't do them as much as we should and also because they are some of the most important things! Our stake president challenged all of the people in the stake to read the book of Mormon during the summer. Well the summer is halfway over now. I would like to challenge all of you to READ THE BOOK OF MORMON COMPLETELY BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR. Either as a family or individually. I hope you guys will all take the challenge. I am going to do it too! I know you all can do it and you will see blessings in your lives. The Book of Mormon changes lives, so yeah. If anyone has any cool experiences or anything I would love to hear!
I was actually reading in the Book of Mormon this week and I came across a scripture that I am sure that I have read before but this time it really stood out to me. It was Mosiah 2:24 and it says," And secondly he doth require that ye should do as he hath commanded you for which if ye do he doth immediately bless you and therefore he hath paid you . And ye are still indebted unto him and are and will be forever and ever therefore of what have ye to boast?" I was like man. God blesses us immediately. We will also be forever indebted to him. It is crazy that God is blessing us all the time. When we even choose to be a little obedient he blesses us. We will also forever be blessed by him when we are obedient. Man I love it. You guys are awesome and I hope you can all realized how blessed you are even during the hard times.
