Hello family, friends and maybe even people that I do not know! Hope you are all having a great week! Well right now I am currently the only one left from my district. The last elder left this morning so now I am flying solo. Well I am hanging out with another district, but it isn't quite the same. Let me just say it is a little nice to have a bit of a break from everyone. I do love them and all, but it is nice to have a little break. I am running on about zero sleep or at least that is how it feels for me. Monday morning early in the morning I got up and said goodbye to my companion at about 3 and then did not go back to sleep. At 4 another elder left and I said goodbye to him and after that I tried to go back to sleep, but it didn't really happen. The next elder in our district left around 7 and then two others left around 9. So by then there was only three elders left including myself and then one hermana. Then this morning at around 4 the other elder left and then the last elder left around 8. So by then I was the only one left in my district. Let me just say as sad as it sounds that it feels pretty good.
Not much has gone on here in the MTC because it is literally the same day everyday. Let me just say that I have learned a lot from the MTC. Mostly about what not to do in life and then also some stuff about what to do. My Spanish is obviously perfect and I can speak to basically anyone fluently. Yeah I wish. I do feel confident with my Spanish though, but we will see about that in a few days when I am actually in DC. I don't remember if I have already said this or not, but I will say it again. The biggest thing that I have probably learned here is that God is involved in everyone of our lives individually. Whether you are a member of the church or not God knows everyone of us and is looking out for everyone of us. There are no such thing as coincidences and everything happens for a reason. Everything, whether it be good or bad. There is a reason everything happens and if we endure it well it will work for our benefit. God loves you and me and everyone in the world. Remember to look unto him in every thought, doubt not and fear not. You guys are awesome. For those of you who actually read my emails and those of you who don't I love you even more.Well Hopefully these pictures look okay. It is me and my companion, my district, me and elder harris (He is chill) and then I don't remember what the other pictures are of but they are probably quality.
Love,
Davis
