How are all my friends and family doing? I hope you are all doing great! This week has flown by. We have done so much. It can get easy to get overwhelmed out here sometime ya know. I may be far away from home, but at least I am still in the same country! Even though sometimes I feel like I only talk to people from Guatemala! I love it. We found a ton of people this week with awesome potential. We have our fingers crossed. So yeah.
This week is general conference which is pretty cool. I feel like I was just watching it yesterday with Elder Nield. I was actually watching 6 months ago with Elder Nield and now I get to do it again. It should be fun. It is cool because the Book of Mormon contains the words of prophets. I have heard a lot of people talk about the Book of Mormon out here and some pretty crazy stuff is said. I know that prophets wrote that book. It is kind of cool how we have the Bible and the Book of Mormon. They both do testify of Jesus Christ. That is all they are meant to do! My mom actually finished the Book of Mormon this week! Shout out to her. I would just like to put in here what she told me. "I also wanted to let you know that I finished the Book of Mormon today. As I was reading the last chapter it seemed like everything Moroni was saying just summed up everything that is said throughout the whole book. As I think about our beliefs, it seems really simple to me. Everything we believe in is so good and if we do it, it will lead to a happy life." I couldn't have said it any better. For those who were wondering my mom knows it so I know it and I can not doubt it. Love you all and if anyone finishes it I would love to hear! Have a good week!
