Davis was able to go back to his area in Spring Lake to see the baptisms of two young ladies he taught. He says:
On Saturday night I got to go back for the baptism of Noelia and Nailea. I got to baptize Noelia which was pretty cool. It was way cool to see them again and to go back for that. It was a ton of fun.
How are things going people? Hope all is good and you are all getting ready for the holidays! These next few months are going to fly by! I just know it! This week we had transfers and I left from my home in Arlington to a little place called Manassas. So far I really like it a ton. My new comp is cool so it is a bonus. We got to go this activity that the ward had called Una Noche De Hispanidad. It was way cool and fun. Basically the people in the ward made food from their different countries and brought it for everyone. There was too much food and it was super good. Then the different countries had these presentations from things from their countries. There were people that danced, sang and even did a play. It was so much fun. Other than that not much has happened this week! It has been a whole lot of fun though.
Well I hope you guys are still reading in the Book of Mormon. It is almost November and then there will only be two months left. If you haven't even started then I hope you start today because you can still finish it. I read about the ministry of Jesus Christ in the America's this week. It was so interesting to me. I read a really awesome scripture this week in 3 Nephi 27:19. It talks about how we can be cleansed through the blood of Jesus Christ. I have been thinking about that a lot lately and when I read the scripture it really helped me out. We really all can become clean through faith in Jesus Christ, repenting and being faithful to the end. I hope we all try to do those three things today, this week and the rest of our lives.
