3-19-18m - Week 76 - Monday, March 19, 2018

So last Monday we went to the hospital and gave a blessing to a lady with the English elders. Nice lady. Apparently during her kimotherapy she basically died, but there were 13 people that helped her come back and apparently she heard a voice tell her to come back so that is crazy. Then we went to culto and it was pretty good. I asked if I could say something and I felt like it went pretty good. I didn't go all preacher just something nice and touching.

Then on Tuesday we had exchanges and I went with elder andrus. He is a super cool guy. So we taught this lady named Ashley over Skype who is super awesome. She will probably get baptized sometime next month. Then we went and played some games with these two kids that they are teaching. Then we had a lesson with his guy who is going to get baptized this coming week. So that was cool. Then we stayed up way too late talking so I was super tired the next day. Elder andrus is a super cool guy though.

Well Wednesday. We went and played basketball with the kids. We made a deal that if we beat them then they would come to church. So we beat them. Haha. Then we met some cool people that night. Then the Salinas made us dinner but we just picked it up. Then we had a pass off lesson with the dairy queen kid. It was super good and he went to church yesterday. Hopefully he is doing good! Then we went and tried some more people, but didn't have a whole ton of luck.

Then Thursday was a little bit of a rough day. We ended up teaching Ernesto that night and it went super good. He is doing super good, we just need to talk to him about marriage now.

Then Friday we went and helped a member cut up his fence because it had fallen over. He is going to put in a new one sometime this week. It was super good. Then they took us out to eat and the husband and wife are so funny. They bicker back and forth at each other. I love it. Then we went by the Contreras and spoke with them for a little, but they still aren't super interested in the gospel part. We then went by Lucio and Jessica. They are doing pretty good. Lucio is working a ton and super far away right now so it has been hard. They also didn't come to church so we don't know what is up with that...

Saturday was awesome! So there was a baptism for this family that the hermanas taught. So at 4 they had a wedding. They got married and then right after at 5 they got baptized and it was legit one of the best things to witness of my entire life. The family is so awesome. Ernesto also came to the baptism and he seemed to like it. It was like one of the best days of my entire life just because the family is so awesome and the fact that they got married before. Man it was great.

Then Sunday was crazy busy. We went to church and Ernesto came again. He is doing great with the ward and everything. Then right after church we went to this English ward to meet Leo and his mom to go to the ward. They seemed to think it was alright. They are catholic. The mom had questions about the book of mormon so that was cool. Then we went to have correlation at bishops house. That was fun! We then went and had a lesson with this family from Dominican republic. It was so sweet and they were awesome. They have a ton of crazy kids. Then we went and had a lesson with this other family who I think has some potencial. They had investigated in the past but the husband has a few problems with some church history things. The wife wanted to come to the baptism and church this week though. So that was good. Then we finished off the night going to the urbina house. They are legit the best.

Got to run!
