Well hello all my friends and family and maybe even some others! Who knows!? Well I would just like to ask something of every single person who reads this. Could you please send me on quote or line from conference that you liked? Please? It will probably take like 2 minutes at most. If you didn't watch conference maybe you could go check it out and then send me something that you liked. It would really mean a lot to me. I hope you are all enjoying April and the end of winter. Maybe winter already ended I don't know lol.
Well this week was full of meetings! LIterally we had so many! It was fun though. We had a meeting for all the spanish speaking missionaries in the mission. I got to see my old companions and stuff. It was awesome. My trainer, Elder porter, only has one more transfer left after this one so that is way weird and crazy! Then Elder Lucero leaves in August so not too far off! It was way fun to see all the missionaries from the spanish program though too. Then we had zone conference. That was so great! I always learn so much and it is always awesome to see the mission president. He is kind of like your dad of the mission i guess! Lol.So I will just share one little thing that I got from conference. I don't know if it was actually said or if it was something that just came to mind during the conference but I think it is very applicable to everyone. It is that when bad things happen to us or the people we love we have two choices. 1) We can complain and be mad at God for "letting" this happen. 2) We can look to God for strength, comfort and safety. I have thought about this a lot because complaining isn't going to help anything. When we complain nothing changes. When we ask God for help miracles happen. We grow our faith in him and our confidence in him. Also the burden will not feel the same, it will still be there but it won't be the same. It might not be a feeling you can exactly describe but I know that this will happen. I love you all and please send me a little something from conference you like. Really nothing big at all, just little!
Elder Larsen
