Semana 14... (Again) - Week 33 - Monday, May 22, 2017

Hello people! It is currently rainy and really gloomy outside. Quite a change from the past few days. It hit 96 I am pretty sure this past week and it was deathly hot! Can't wait for summer. This week has been full of stuff but I can never remember what we actually did. We had exchanges with the district leader which was way fun. I got to be with a way awesome guy named Elder Woelhaf. I learned a lot from him. He also kind of chilled me out which is good. He basically is one of the coolest guys ever.

I have been thinking a lot about how to do missionary work and the hardest part is is that there is no right way. Well there is a wrong way definitely. Through my hours of pondering and studying I came to the conclusion that the best way to do missionary work is through that spirit. Now this just isn't for missionaries and can definitely be applied to basically everything about life. I personally think the goal of life is to figure out how to listen to the spirit and do what he says or not do. I also realized this week that I am aweful at that. Well not aweful, but just not the best. At all. I have been praying almost every prayer for that and I was doing decently good until last night. When we had a lesson. With a man, that did not want to listen. Just to ignore the details the spirit most likely was not there. I immediately felt super bad. Man I hate that. It is like in 2 Nefí 4 when Nefí is talking about how the sins that so easily beset him and he is a prophet. A pretty good one too. So I guess if even Nefí makes mistakes I got to expect I will make a few too. So yeah that is my little spiritual thought? Hope it was decent.

You are all awesome and I hope you have a fantastic week!

Elder Larsen
